Ideal Horaires – Documentation

Ideal Horaires displays a schedule of classes, workshops or appointments as an accordion: weeks › days › time slots, each slot with an availability badge and an optional booking button.

Installation

  1. Download the ZIP from My licences or from the link in your order e-mail. Do not unzip it.
  2. In Joomla, open System › Install › Extensions and drop the ZIP into Upload Package File.
  3. Ideal Horaires enables itself. There is nothing else to switch on.

A new version installs the same way, over the old one. Your content and settings are kept.

Licence key and updates

Your licence key (format IDPC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) is in your order e-mail and on the My licences page. Paste it once per site:

  1. Open System › Update › Update Sites.
  2. Click Ideal Horaires. Joomla shows “missing download key”.
  3. Paste the key into the Download Key field, then click Save & Close.

New versions then appear in System › Update › Extensions and install in one click. Updates and e-mail support are included for 12 months. After that, the extension keeps working with no time limit; only access to new versions stops. You can renew at any time from My licences.

The key does not go into the plugin settings or into YOOtheme. The same key works for all your IdealPC extensions.

1. Build a schedule

  1. In the YOOtheme Pro page builder, add the Schedule Accordion element (group “IdealPC”).
  2. Add a week per accordion panel (e.g. “Week of 16–19 August”). Use Force open to always show a week expanded.
  3. In each week, add days (e.g. “Tuesday 16 August”), then the time slots of each day.

Each week title shows a counter such as “3 free slots”, calculated from its slots.

2. Time slots and statuses

  • Start time and end time: free text, e.g. 09:00 or 9 am.
  • Status: places available, full, waiting list or cancelled (time struck through).
  • Remaining places: optional. With a number, the badge shows “3 places available”, “Only 2 places left” below the threshold, or “Last place!”.
  • Note: short text after the time, e.g. “with Marie” or “Room 2”.
  • Specific link: overrides the general booking link for this slot.

3. Accordion settings

  • Booking link, opening in a new tab if needed, and a Book button with its own text and style (primary, secondary, default or text).
  • Initial state: all closed, first week open or all open; option to allow several weeks open at once; icon (plus/minus, chevron or none); option to hide cancelled slots.
  • Status style: solid badge, outline badge or coloured text; limited places threshold.
  • Labels and colours: every label and colour can be changed for this element. Use {n} for the number, e.g. “{n} places available”.

4. Global defaults

To set the same style, labels and colours for all schedules, open System › Manage › Plugins and edit System - Ideal Horaires. Values set in an element take priority over these defaults; empty fields use the defaults.

Languages

The default labels (“Book”, “3 places available”, “Full”…) are shown automatically in the page language: English, French, German or Italian. Labels you type yourself are shown as entered. On a multilingual site, build one schedule per language page.

FAQ

Can visitors book directly in the schedule?
Ideal Horaires shows availability and links to your booking page or form (e.g. a contact form, an online booking tool or an e-mail link). It does not handle payments or reservations itself.
How do I mark a slot as full?
Open the slot and set its status to Full, or set the remaining places to 0.
Can I use it without YOOtheme Pro?
No, Ideal Horaires is a YOOtheme Pro page builder element.
